Bhubaneswar: Gymkhana Palm Heights, a housing complex at Ward Number 22, on Friday stated the micro detention zone after detection of more than 80 positive Covid cases there.
Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) said no one would be allowed to enter the place and no one could come out without his permission.
BMC will ensure essential supply and when needed through vendors authorized by it.
BMC and police will also supervise the complex to see if the Covid protocol is violated.
BMC also sealed the ecamra park because people looked wandering around it.
BMC, during a surprise attack, found people put it even though there was no permission given to the opening.
BMC said the park belonged to the horticulture department and to avoid congestion, it was sealed.
BMC also sealed one of the largest markets in the city in VSS Nagar because it was crowded and despite warnings, vendors failed to adhere to Covid norms.
The market will remain closed until BMC appears with a new order.
The enforcement team also carried out a surprise attack on Badagada Haat, Saheed Nagar Haat and Jharada.
In the North Zone, six stores were closed and at all Rs 10,000 were collected well from the wrong vendors.
The capital city, meanwhile, reported 345 fresh cases on Friday.
The case actively lives around 1300 because of the number of new cases and the recovery is almost the same.
This city has so far seen the Faatality of 460 Covid with a total number of jumps to 90,908.
