BarriCades, said BMC, will help pedestrians and riders recognize vulnerable places.

We installed bamboo barricades along all open drainers, open culverts, natural drainage channels that flow close to housing areas, drains run along the main road.
In the case of Cloudburst water and the rain flows into the sewer and on the road, barricades can help people recognize danger.
They can also limit their movements by not crossing and moving beyond the barriturade point, “said the additional commissioner BMC Laxmikant Setyi.
BMC said more than 70 vulnerable points had been identified before and now the technical wing will mobilize the people to install a sign.
