Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation started the crowd control

Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Tuesday sealed eight foreign liquor (outlet) in the North and Southeast City Zone because it intensified enforcement to contain Covid situations in the state of the state in the state.
BMC has also decided to store one of the largest markets in the city – Indradhanu – closed until July 1 as the shops there witnessed a surge of the crowd.
Deputy Zonal Commissioner Purandar Nanda said liquor stores sell offline, which is strictly prohibited in certain circumstances because social distance norms can be violated.

Shops will be allowed to reopen after further orders,” said Nanda.
Since April week first, BMC has taken almost 18 lakh rs well from covid rule violators.
Rs 6.95,650 highest has been collected in the Southeast Zone and Rs 2.5 lakh by the Central Squad.
In addition to liquor stores, BMC sealed as many as 50 important stores for Covid rule violations.
Shops look entertaining more customers in stores, resulting in density and compromise in social distance.
Many shop owners were not found wearing masks too.
The Indradhanu vegetable market, which has been transferred to Durga Puja Ground, will continue to run.
“Many vendors from the field are asked to empty to reduce market places and also to ensure decentralization.
It would be good for people to move freely and maintain the distances needed when shopping,” said Rabindra Jethy, Deputy Commissioner of Zonal, South-West Zone.
Many Omfed homes were also sealed when they sold tea and coffee despite the fact that only milk sales and dairy products were permitted.
BMC also found that some covid positive people hang out near the milk salon and gossip with others.
On Monday, BMC has decentralized several markets and sealed many people to ensure that the crowd was arranged during opening hours.
The non-vegan market in Unit-IV is still closed while the authorities plan to move the nearby vegetable market.
