Bhubaneswar: General Coast General Manager (ECOR) Vidya Bhushan on Friday said work on rebuilding RS 1075 Crore Train Station Bhubaneswar will begin within six months.
Speaking to the media after reviewing the rebuilding plan, Bhushan said the detailed report and project plan for construction had been carried out.
“After completing detailed project estimates, the tender will drift.
Within six months of work will begin in accordance with the MOU signed between the state and ecor government in September 2019,” Bhushan said.
Shopping complexes, restaurants, parking lots and other facilities will be provided at the station apart from two additional train lines.
By stating that the station will have airports such as modern facilities, Bhushan said the station will be developed into a commercial center with aesthetic lighting, increased signage, and better passenger facilities, including the waiting room.
“Further facilities will be given to the traveling public.
Apart from this, the circulated area will also be developed and will be beautified.
The drainage system will be handled thoroughly.
More parking will be provided near the platform 6,” he added.
