Gandhinagar: Towards Diwali’s Day, Chairman of the Minister of Bhupendra Patel gave 560 quarters of the type of B-and C government in Veer Bhagat Singh Nagar to beneficiaries in Gandhinagar on Tuesday.
As many as 560 quarters – 280 each type B and C – have been built by roads and building buildings at a cost of Rs 149.8 Crore.

Accommodation is equipped with advanced facilities such as vitrified tiles, fixed furniture, PNG gas pipelines, lifts, fire safety facilities, children’s play area, garden, spacious parking and security cabins.
A statement of the government said following the tradition of naming government settlements after the National Hero, the quarter was named Veer Bhagat Singh Nagar.
In the last 5 years in Gandhinagar, with the naming Shyamjikrishna Varma Park, Veer Savarkar Nagar and Vande Mataram Park, a total of 1,120 houses have been prepared by the Road & Building Department at a cost of Rs 219 Crore.
Construction work 1,456 houses at a cost of RS 365 Crore are ongoing, the statement was added.
