Bias Twitter, ‘annoying’ in the Indian political process, said Rahul Gandhi

New Delhi: Congress MP Rahul Gandhi on Friday accused Twitter “annoying” in the Indian political process, and making it a business company “to define our politics”.
Rahul comment came a week after Twitter locked his account and many leaders of the Congress and party units over the former Chief of Congress shared the Dalit family picture whose son was suspected of being raped and killed.
Congress leaders have strengthened content as part of an online campaign against Twitter action.
“This is an attack on the democratic structure of the country, this is not an attack on Rahul Gandhi.
This is not, you know, just turn off Rahul Gandhi down.
I have 19-20 million followers.
You deny them the right to argue,” Rahul said in the message Video which was widely distributed by Congress on its social media platform.
Rahul also said the Twitter step to lock the account was not only “unfair patent”, but also “breaking the idea that Twitter is a neutral platform”.
“…
For investors, this is a very dangerous thing because it sides on the political contest having an impact on Twitter.

it’s clear that Twitter is actually not a neutral and objective platform.
This is a biased platform.
It is something that listens to what is said the government that day, “he said.
A short video message sees Rahul asking whether the company must be allowed to “define politics” only because they are “beholdden” to the government.
Along with the statement of the video, Scion Congress issued an Instagram post that reads “Digital Dadgiri Nahi Chalegi (Tactics Strongarm Digital will not work)”.
Then on that day, the Congress also lost the spokesman to question the ‘silence’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi in the alleged rape and murder of a 9-year-old Dialit girl in Delhi.
They also claimed that Rahul did not violate any Twitter policy by sharing photos of the victim’s family, because of the family photos “already in the public domain”.
“We did not violate the rules.
Rahul Gandhi tried to help the families of victims who were seeking justice.
What Twitter did was being carried out under the pressure of the government,” he said.
Twitter, however, has stated that the rules are enforced “wisely and impartially for everyone in our services”.
“We have taken proactive action on several hundred tweets that record images that violate our rules, and can continue to do it in line with our range of our enforcement options.
Certain types of personal information brings higher risk than others, and our goals always protect privacy and individual security, “said Twitter spokesman.
