Bicycle collisions triggered communal clashes

Rajkot: A small incident of a bicycle collision triggered clashes between members of two communities in the city of Prabhas-Patan Gir-Somnath on Monday night, leaving two injured people.
Police on Tuesday arrested three people in connection with clashes.
Some vehicles and several shops are damaged by rioters belonging to different communities.
Mushtaq Malek (24), a resident of Prabhas Patan, filed a complaint against Paresh Sarman, Ramesh Pakoda and 24 others for attacks and riots.
Malek accused a collision between his Ramesh bicycle which produced a heated argument.
The problem was resolved, but then members of the two communities attacked each other, police said.
Many people from both communities are armed with sticks on Monday night.
Immediately after violence broke, the main market was closed.
The police team from Veraval and Sutrapada were called to bring the situation under control.
Tensions apply in areas where there is a severe police deployment to prevent escalation, a police officer said.
Complaints submitted against 25 hordes in the relevant IPC section.
