Ranchi: The Chairperson of the Minister of Hemant Soren on Saturday called the central offer to change the IAS (cadre) rules, especially the provisions of the IAS’s deputation for Central Deputation, as “unilateralism”, “Draconian” and against the spirit of cooperative federalism.
The letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi released on Saturday night, Soren said his government stated that on January 12, it had stated his disagreement with a central proposal to change the rules.
The proposed amendment tried to change the rules for the center deputation of the IAS officers without taking a nod from each state government.
