Bid was completed three months ago, MADC has not distributed hotel tenders

Nagpur: Check the Bouncing Case (MADC) Maharashtra Airport has caused revelation that the company has failed to share the tender for a five-star hotel to the highest bidder for more than three months after opening a financial offer on October 22 last year.
Ceks examination from RS3.5 Crore was issued for Pramod Korde and Rashmi Mukewar bidding for a tender hotel floating on 7 July last year.
After their offer was rejected for technical reasons, MADC has issued a check on behalf of Bank Baroda (Bob).
Mohan Gaikwad, who submitted a tender in the name of the Abha Hospitality Service and emerged as the second highest bidder, now asking MADC Top Brass why the tender has not been allocated to the highest bidder ‘Indian Safari Lodges and Campus Private Limited’ even after three months.
Gaikwad, who also runs Tulsiramji Gaikwad Patil Group of Institutions, told TII that MADC has not released the deposit of money (EMD) RS1.75 Crore.
“In accordance with his condition, my deposit will be released 45 days after the ‘receipt letter’ is issued for the highest bidder.
Now, it has been more than three months but no one moves from the MADC side for allocating tenders,” he said.
When Tii looked for the MADC version of the claim, Pro Deepak Joshi said he would take information from the department concerned and answer, but did not call back.
Senior MADC official revealed that because the area to propose a five-star hotel was around 6.79 hectares, permission was needed from their board of directors (BOD).
“There are other legal and technical problems as well because the tender is delayed.
This will be resolved only after council approval,” they said to TI.
Gaikwad demanded MADC either issue ‘acceptance letter’ to the highest bidder and return the number or submit a tender to him, if the first antidote was not interested.
“MADC officials must clarify why they did not distribute tenders to the first antidote and took 30% of the project costs from him.
They seem to support the bidder with not officially giving him extensions.
They must explain this uncontrollable delay.” Reflecting his charges, Bachitersingh Kapoorsingh deaf , one of the Directors ‘Indian Safari Lodges and Campus Private Limited’ said that MADC did not communicate anything to them for more than three months in this matter.
“Nothing supports us.
In fact, we are ready if MADC issues a letter receipt, but no one moves from their side to date,” he told Toi.
