WASHINGTON: US President Joe Biden on Monday signed an executive order that imposes new steps aimed at punishing Belarus President Alexander Lukashenko as the United States stepping against his government in coordinated action with Britain and Canada.
In the commemoration of President Lukashenko’s election was accused of winning, the United States will also issue its biggest round sanctions to the present in individuals and Belarusian entities, targeting the country’s economy and the Belarus National Olympic Committee, a White House official said.
