Mumbai: The Biden government recently released a comprehensive strategy involving several government institutions to break down barriers to US citizenship and promote naturalization (citizenship) for all who qualified.
After the executive command issued by US President Joe Biden, in early February, to restore trust in the Law Immigration system and improve the same, ‘naturalized working group’ (NWG) has been formed to facilitate our process of obtaining US citizenship.

“New citizens, reinforced with the strengths and responsibilities of American citizenship, make our nation better.
This strategy will ensure that prospective citizens can pursue naturalization through a clear and coordinated process,” he added.
The three main pillars of this strategy include outreach, partnership and education.
Working groups will notify immigrants when they qualify for citizenship.
Government agencies will work with various institutions such as postal services or US customs to provide information relating to naturalization (citizenship).
Finally, the citizenship and education awareness campaign will be strengthened to include multilingual learning material, increasing outreach to targeted regions (such as rural) or groups (such as military families).
