Washington: Congress must act to recover fundamental voting rights after the US Supreme Court on Thursday reply to election restrictions in Arizona, said US President Joe Biden, adding that legislative protection is needed to repair damage and maintain democracy.
“The attack we see today becomes clearer than before, additional laws are needed to keep the heart of our democracy,” Biden said in a statement.
“Democracy is on the phone.”
