Washington: US President Joe Biden will nominate writers, surgeons and public health experts Atul Gawande to a senior global health role at the US International Development Agency, a White House official said on Tuesday.
Gawande, a writer of the four best-selling books of the New York Times and a professor at the Hospital of Brigham and Women, Harvard Medical School and Harvard Than School of Public Health, will be nominated for the Assistant Global Bureau Administrator for Global Health.
