WASHINGTON: President Joe Biden will host the Democratic Mayor of New York City and the leaders of law enforcement and other laws from all over the country to talk about reducing crime.
Eric Adams, President Brooklyn Borough and the possibility of the next New York Major, plus Washington, DC, Mayor Muriel Bowser and San Jose, California, Mayor of Sam Liccardo is expected to attend a meeting on Monday, according to two people who are familiar with plans.
They are not authorized to speak in public about the meeting and talk to the Associated Press with the terms of anonymity.
Biden will also hold the Chief of Police Memphis C.J Davis, Head of David Brown from Chicago and Latton Anthony Five of Newark, New Jersey, Police.
The shooting and murder were around the nation, with local politicians and police struggling to manage violence that had bubbled since the Pandemic Coronavirus.
But there was a sustainable encouragement for police reform, revived nationally with the death of George Floyd, and Biden tried to work in both simultaneously.
The President recently announced a new effort to stem the wave of violence, but the federal government is limited to what can be done to help the regions reduce surges.
It is planned to focus on providing funds to cities that need more police, offering community support and crack down on arms and supply illegal firearms.
But many Biden’s efforts are voluntarily centered on cities that encourage some of their Covid-19 assistance funds into the police and encourage the steps for reducing alternative crimes such as increasing community support and summer work for adolescents – often targeting and perpetrators violence.
Biden will join Monday by the Attorney General Merrick Garland and other anti-violent experts.
The President is expected to speak through the federal law enforcement work done to stop the flow of illegal weapons, including the power of new strikes in Chicago, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Washington to help reduce illegal and new pistol officials “zero policy tolerance for dealers who sell weapons Illegally.
Federal efforts are ongoing to expand and improve the interrupt program of community violence in 15 cities.
Adams, the former captain of the New York Police Department, is a favorite of the barrier in the general election against Curtis Sliwa, the founder of the Republic of the Angel Guardian.
Democrats exceed the number of Republicans 7- 1st in New York City.
Adams won a crowded primary after pulling into the political center and promised to make the right balance between the battle of the crime and end the racial injustice in the police.
