Hyderabad: Telangana has demanded a quick resolution of all bifurcation issues delayed by neighboring Andhra Pradesh and urged the center to calm them earliest.
At a joint meeting on the problems of bifurcation between the two countries on Wednesday, Telangana slammed AP because he dragged his leg to resolve the problem and demanded payment of contributions from the AP and the center to the country immediately.
On the problem of power bills, Telangana said they had to get Rs 12,111 crore contributions from the AP.
Telangana insists it must get money spent on public institutions and higher education institutions.
Because some problems were postponed by the High Court, Telangana suggested to attract cases for a calm settlement of a delayed problem.
Union House Secretary Ajay Kumar Bhalla held a virtual meeting with the Secretary of the Chief of Telangana and AP.

The meeting discussed eight problems – Power Payment Power to Apgenco by Telangana Discox, Dispute Bisifurkasi Institution IX and X, Financial State Fire Division, Division of Singareni Colliaries Company Limited and Children’s Company Engineer Heavy Machinery Ltd, Dispute from AP Bhavan Allocation in Delhi Tax arrears and refunds according to the act of reorganization of AP and cash balance division and bank deposits – especially.
Telangana said he had taken firm stands that except the court case was drawn, it could not continue with the BiFurcation of the IX and X institutional schedule.
In the distribution of cash balances and bank deposits, Telangana believes that RS 495 Crore is caused by the center for the past seven years while the AP owes Rs 315 Crore against money spent on public institutions such as the High Court, Raj Bhavan, etc.
“Even expenses such as sharing buildings in construction, RS 456 crore welfare funds and the resumption of clean credit in the future RS 208 Crore has also not been paid,” said Somesh Kumar.
AP said the Telangana power utility owed Rs 3,442 Crore.
However, Telangana replied.
“Telangana loses hydel power is low in low-cost Hydro Power Project.
Therefore, Telangana power discounts are forced to get high-cost power, which causes a large financial burden for the disco part.
To resolve the problem, Bhalla suggested that two nodal officers appointed to see the balance of cash and issue problems of refund.
While Telangana was nominated by Ramakrishna Rao, AP named the Head of the Special Secretary of SS Rawat.
