London: underlining the situation in Afghanistan has “deteriorated”, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said on Thursday that there would be “big bulk” evacuation of the staff of the British Embassy and officials from the country hit by the following days.
In a video message, Johnson defended the withdrawal of British troops from the country, saying that there was no military solution for the current crisis in Afghanistan.
On Thursday, England announced that it would deploy 600 British soldiers to Afghanistan to help evacuate British citizens.
“As can be seen by everyone, the situation in Afghanistan has deteriorated.

The prime minister also vowed to increase efforts to bring back Afghanistan, which helped British and international forces for the past 20 years.
Johnson’s statement came when Taliban terrorists had controlled half of the Afghan province weeks after the US and other forces announced the withdrawal of their troops from Afghanistan.
In the midst of increasing violence, some countries including the US and India have asked their citizens to immediately leave the country hit by a war.
Appreciating the role played by the British armed forces in Afghanistan, the Prime Minister said: “Thanks to the country’s armed service, we have seen Al Qaeda’s attack against the West for a very long time.” Violence in Afghanistan has increased when Taliban terrorists are on military tantrums.
Heavy battles are taking place in several cities in Afghanistan.
The Taliban has dropped six provincial capitals in the last 24 hours which brought the total number of provinces that fell into terrorists up to 18, local media reported on Friday.
Khaama Press reports that the centers of Kandahar, Helmand, Herat, Badghis, Ghor, Logar, Zabul, and Oruzgan Province fell to the Taliban in the last 24 hours.
Apart from the province, there are also other provinces such as Paktia and Wardak where Afghan government forces only controlled provincial capital and the Taliban controlling the remnants of geography, it reported further.
