As expected, Deputy Chairperson of the Minister of Keshav Maurya will compete from Sirathu in Kaushambi.
While Yogi, who has been a member of a five-time parliament from Gorakhpur, will oppose the assembly selection for the first time, Maurya has won from Sirathu in 2012.
Both will replace sitting MLAS – RMD Agarwal and Sheetla Prasad.
Parties announced candidates for 57 out of 58 seats went to the poll in the first phase, while 48 names of 55 constituencies in the second phase were announced.
The nomination for eight seats will be announced later, with some of them tend to go to the Allies of Nishad Party and Apna Dal.
Of the 105 seats going to elections in the first two phases, BJP has won 86 in 2017.
However, two lay empty due to the death of petellings, while three days ago.
Of the remaining 81, the party has maintained 60 MLA sitting on the list, which is almost 75%.
Retention comes with a background speculation about the possibility of a large number of MLA sitting down.
Among the 2017 election runners-up, only four have been lowered again while 13 have been replaced.
Only 10 of the 107 candidates are women.
The party has provided 44 seats for OBC candidates.
Although it is worth the make-up of voters, a large share is seen as significant in the view of BJP’s efforts to blunt opposition claims about the out of “back” from the fold of turmeric, with the Samajwadi party managing to seize influential retreat leaders such as Swami Prasad Maurya and Dharam Singh Saina.
Also, the party, who is at the end of the farmer’s agitation recipient in Western bags dominated by JAT, has maintained his faith in the influential community.
These sixteen tickets have gone to the JAT candidate who helped the party swept the area in the 2017 poll held after communal riots.
Gujars, another important category in this area, has received seven tickets, each against six and five given to Lodhs and Sainis.
OBC, which forms the largest voter chunk, is considered important to win the election.
