Patna: Covid-19 kasing continues to show a downward trend on Friday because 236 positive cases are reported in the state in the last 24 hours.
New cases detected from 1.39,029 samples were tested.
The level of participants also fell to nearly 0.17% as 474 covid patients recovered, reducing active cases to 1420.
Officially, one more death was reported, taking the toll because Covid-19 to 12,247 in the state.
Of the 236 new cases, Patna has 49 maximum, followed by Purnia (19), Saharsa (16), Gopalganj (13), Vaishali (11).
Other districts report less than 10 cases.
Kaimur, Khagaria, Nalanda, Nawada and Rohta have no new cases on Friday.
In accordance with the information distributed by AIIMS-Patna Nodal Officer for Covid, Dr.
Sanjeev Kumar, a 70-year-old Madhepura resident died on Friday.
While three Covid patients were accepted, six finished.
On Friday, 39 Covid patients were undergoing treatment there.
Meanwhile, more than 11.57 covid vaccine doses have been given at Bihar so far, including more than 6.54 first dose crore and a prevention dose of 6.34 lakh.
