Bagaha / Patna: 10-year-old Tigress died in a mysterious state at Valmiki Tiger Reserve (VTR) on Saturday night.
The tiger body was found on an agricultural land near the village of Chakarsan under the Manpur police station area in Mangurahana forest span in VTT, Bettiah.
The Department of Forest team took Tigress to detention.
The autopsy was carried out in front of the VTR-Cum-Conservator Director of the Hemkant Rai Forest, another forest official from Gobardhana, the Framework of the Forest of Raghia and Sho of Manchester of the Vikash Tiwari Police Station at Mangurahana Forest Headquarter on Sunday.
Rai said Prima Facie, it appears that Tigress died about two days ago.
“There are no injuries or injuries seen in the body of Tigress.
The carcass is restored and sent for autopsy on Sundays and all parts of the body intact.
Tigress has given birth to two children,” he said.
TiRigress’s death was reported to the National Tiger Conservation Authority (NTCA) -Delhi and the Guwahati Regional Office on Sunday.
Then, the body is discarded according to the NTCA protocol.
Viscera will be sent to the Indian Veterinary Research Institute (IVRI) at the Bareilly and Wildlife Institute of India (WWI) in Dehradun for forensic tests.
The locals have raised suspicion that the tiger may have died by eating toxic food or due to snake bites.
However, VTR officials were covered on the cause of death.
According to sources, Tigress deviated from the forest and entered the village of Chakarsan, where his body was found.
The incident was revealed on Saturday night when several villagers passed a farmland.
They smell the foul smell from isolated farming and find the dead Tigress.

In accordance with official numbers, the tiger population in the VTR is in the range of 28-37 with a density of 2.5 tigers per 100 km.
