Patna / sitamarhi: Overall 18 people, including one from Nepal, was arrested and six little girls were saved from a bordel house in Boha Teach in the city Thursday night at the end of Thursday night.
Girls, belonging to Assam, West Bengal, Jharkhand, Patna and Kishanganj, have been traded and forced into meat trade.
Sitamarhi SP Harkishore Rai said Delhi-based NGOs had given a tip-off to the police, after which the attack was carried out under the DSP (headquarters) of Raj Narayan Singh in several houses, in the area.
“Of the 18 captured, five are customers.
Rest is those who run brothels,” he said.
Rai said the girls had been sent to the shelter and process to verify their address and contact their family members.
DSP Singh said 18 people arrested included Hina Khatoon, Nafisa Khatoon, Mina Khatoon, Payal Khatoon, Zubaida Khatoon, Salma Khatoon, Mohammad Yusuf, Laddu Kumar, Piniz Khatoon, Mohammad Dilip, Dilip Mustaq, Arya Yadav (Rohtak, Nepal), Umesh Rai, Kiran Khatoon and Mohammad Talim.
