Patna: Covid-19 cases continued to decline in the state of Monday, with the Ministry of Health reported 1,821 new cases.
Patna also saw a significant decline in everyday case, registering 224 new cases on Monday, almost half of what was reported the previous day.
On the other hand, 4,829 people were reported to have recovered from Covid on Monday.
This results in a decrease in the number of active cases throughout the country.
Apart from the 224 new cases Covid-19 reported in Patna, Bhagalpur reported 185 cases, followed by Purnia (120), Begusarai (113), Saharsa (102), and Samastipur (102).
Other districts reported less than 100 new cases – Jehanabad (1), Sheohar (3), Khagaria (5), Sheikhpura (7), Supaul (7), and Madhubani (8).
In addition, nine deaths are officially registered on Monday.
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences-Patna reported three deaths, including a 37-year-old woman suggestion, a 54-year-old Buxar woman, and a 71-year-old Mürger man.
According to information distributed by Nodal Hospital officers for Covid-19, Dr.
Sanjeev Kumar, 13 patients were accepted and three were discarded on Monday.
