Katihar: At least 20 people were injured when fox attacked a village in Katihar Bihar district, officials said on Sunday.
The incident was a lapse in Barsoi Village on Saturday around 10pm, they said.
Fox suddenly entered the village and began attacking people who were surprised, they added.
About 20 people were injured critically in the attack and they underwent treatment at the Barsoi Government Hospital, said a village resident.
Fox was beaten to death by an angry villagers, he said.
Some of the critical injured people were being transferred to the district hospital for further treatment, deputy supervisor of the Barsoi Government Hospital Dr.
Mr.
Usmani said.
Forest officers visited the area after the incident.
