Patna: Force Protection Railway (RPF) has launched a massive drive on various parts of the Danapur Division under the East Central Train Jurisdiction (ECR) to create awareness among people about the impact of the alarm chain (ACP) and hosepipe.
(HPD) on the overall traffic operation.
Overall 22 people were arrested with respect to ACP and 83 others were detained for traveling without tickets in the last three days.
Danapur Division Railway Manager (DRM) Sunil Kumar said the ACP case, HPD, stingy stone and livestock ran rampant in the division.
“The RPF personnel team headed by Uday Kumar Singh and Munna Kumar intensified the trail patrol in Buxar-Ara-Patna, Patna-Mokama-Jhajha and Biharsharif-Rajgir in the Division to examine ACP and HPD cases,” he said, added.
Illegal activities by personal interests are very affected by the timeliness of passenger trains and causing discomfort for passengers.
Wild cows are often hit by trains in several places in the division.
“Some livestock are found to be tied to a pole near the track in Zamania near Buxar recently.
The RPF team visits the nearest villages and advises the villagers not to bind the cattle to the poles along the track,” said DRM.
He added that the RPF team has so far visited 18 villages located along the railway line in the division and urged villagers to stop pampering themselves in attractive chains and pelting stones.
Head of the ECR Public Relations Officer Rajesh Kumar said the uniformed man also advised the villagers to attend the appropriate behavior of Covid while traveling by train.
“The RPF men visited Pali Ghorikwa, Harkarnapur and other villages in Patna and Bhojpur Regency recently to create awareness among villagers about Pandemi Covid,” Kumar said.
