Bihar: 3 Electrocuted at Jehanabad

Patna: The couple among the three people were departed in the field in Kirauti Village under the Ghosi Police Station in Jehanabad District on Sunday.
The deceased was identified as Umesh Bind (45), his wife curry Devi (42) and their neighbors Kaushmi Devi (33).
Sho Nikhil Singh said the three would cut grass for livestock when they came into contact with a living wire placed by farmers to supply the power to irrigate their fields.
Singh said some villagers came by cutting the power supply and rushed to the hospital, where the doctor stated they died.
Sho said the bodies were handed over to their respective family members after cremation.
“The necessary financial assistance has been given to a mourning family for cremation.
The authorities will receive Ex Gratia’s call after the investigation,” he said.
Electrocution in the field has become common as one upendra Mahto (41) and his wife Meenu Devi (36) has died in a similar situation in Shahbazpur Village under the Bihta Police Station area in West Patna on Thursday.
However, they come into contact with damaged living wire.
They paid RS4 Lakh each in a few hours.
On Saturday, Champa Devi (45) was reduced while removing flowers from neighboring homes in Ramnagar under the Bihta police station area.
The wire is part of a neighbor’s internal home cable.
