Patna: In the last 48 hours, at all 3,154 Covid-19 cases were reported in the state, including 2,120 on Wednesday and 1.034 on Thursday.
From the newly reported cases on Thursday, 134 came from Patna, followed by 109 of Samastipur, 74 of Saharsa, 72 of Bhojpur, and 53 from Purnia.
In addition, six Covid related deaths were reported on Wednesday and only one on Thursday.
Now, victims of Covid countries have risen to 12,205.
According to sources, the reason the number of new Covid cases lower on Thursday is caused by a relatively less test.
Compared to 1,45,290 tests conducted on Wednesday, only 82,108 were carried out on Thursday, most likely due to the Republican Day celebration.
About 1.5 lakh covid tests are carried out every day, but the amount is significantly lower on Sundays because of the weekend, resulting in a lower number of new cases on Monday.
Nonetheless, the trend of decline in the third wave of the Covid-19 pandemic in Bihar has been observed since January 14, when the country recorded the highest surge at 6,541 the highest case.
On January 15, the Daily Caseload declined slightly by 6,325 and on January 16, it further dipped 5,410.
On January 20, it fell to 3,475 and on January 25, dropped to 2,362.
The third wave of pandemics saw a quick increase in the Covid case.
According to data published in the health department bulletin, Daily Covid Caseload began reported in three digits on December 30, when 132 new cases were registered.
The number of cases has increased to 1,659 on January 5, 4,737 on January 10, and 6,541 on January 14.
On the other hand, the total number of Covid cases in this country has increased to 8.18,858, where 7,96,332 have recovered, including 3,308 in the last 24 hours.
The recovery rate increased slightly from 96.97% on Wednesday to 97.25% on Thursday.
Meanwhile, 4,06,858 covid vaccine doses have been given for the past 24 hours, so the total vaccination dose becomes 11,11,64,272.
