Patna: The police restored the body of a five and a half year old girl on the outskirts of the village under the Pachrukhi police station in Siwan District on Tuesday morning.
Pachrukhi Police Station Sho Dadan Singh said the minors were kidnapped from his residence at around 8:30 a.m.
on Monday and taken to a remote place.
“There, he was raped and then strangled by the defendant, Pradeep Singh (40), who was the cousin of the mother of the girl’s father,” he said.
Sho said Pradeep was arrested and at his confession, the police restored the girl’s body from the bushes.
“In the morning, the villagers tried Lynch Pradeep after releasing him from police detention.
The villagers were throwing a police team with stones when he was taken to the police station.
Some police personnel who protected him were injured.

Dadan said there was Shraddh in the relationship of the girl’s family in the village and his mother went there to attend the ritual while leaving him alone at home.
“Pradeep also came to the village of two days back to attend the same Shraddh.
The villagers poured Pradeep’s involvement when the girl was found missing from his house on Monday night,” he said.
The Sho said Pradeep, indigenous residents of Sugahi Village under the area of the Suswan police station in the Siwan District, were accused of killing his wife by hanging it and having more sister wounding with sharp-eyed objects.
“It is known to be known by the villagers and that is why they suspect his hand behind the kidnapping of the little girl,” he said.
Sho said the body was handed over to the family after postmortem.
Pradeep medical examination has also been carried out.
He said further investigations occurred in this case.
