Patna: The Minister of State Education Vijay Kumar Choudhary said on Friday that the Ministry of Education has a list of 693 teachers who have died because of Covid-19 while answering the questions starred by the CPI MLC Kedar Nath Pandey.
Pandey said that there was no financial assistance given to KIN from the dead teacher.
“Even though the department has received a list of teachers like that, there is no monetary assistance given to their family memnber,” said the CPI MLC.
However, Choudhary answered that the Covid death list was prepared after a review by a committee led by district judges.
This committee sent a recommendation to the Ministry of Health which in turn sent recommendations to the disaster management department who gave Sanction Ex Gratia RS four lakh.
JD (U) MLC Ghulam Rasool raised the problem of cancellation of affiliates to Zakir Hussain Uchh Vidyalaya, Patna.
Rasool through the attention of the call says the school has provided education to a large number of students and has its own infrastructure and several examinations held here.
It was given recognition in 1983 as a non-government minority school.
Rasool further said the director BSeb first placed an affiliate and then canceled it.
He applied for the government to immediately view this problem.
However, the Minister of Education said the department did not have paper related to the recognition given to school.
He said the school had to hand over paper, if they had.
He further said, “In a report submitted to BSEB, it was found that the school did not have his own land and an employee was made by the principal without having to need a feasibility.” However, some MLC made a request for the Minister of Education to personally pay attention to this problem because it was the old school and chairman of the minister, his representatives and legislators had helped it.
