Bihar: 7 districts watched 80% of malaria cases

Patna: The Ministry of Health has identified seven Bihar districts where 80% of malaria cases occur and take steps needed to control mosquito growth in these areas.
In a press statement issued on Saturday, Minister of Health Mangal Pandey said styles, Kaimur, Munger, Aurangabad, Nawada, Rohtas and the Jamui District have witnessed the maximum number of malaria cases in the last three years.
“Jun was observed as an anti-malaria month every year to create awareness about disease among people and encourage them to adopt the right steps to examine its growth.
Dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane or DDT is also sprayed in the affected area until October,” added the minister , The Ministry of Health also focuses on examining and tests on time so that people who suffer from malaria receive proper care.
“Accredited social health activists have been defeated to encourage people to test themselves and take medication,” Pandey said.
