Patna: Overall seven police personnel from the raid team, Rani Talab Police Station Sho Vimlesh Kumar Paswan was injured after they were allegedly attacked by sand smugglers at Barer Tangerang under the area of the Talang Talab police station in West Patna on Friday.
The team has rushed to the Sone River after receiving information about illegal sand mining and transportation.
The police then raided Tolia and restored a large number of IMLFs smuggled and liquor the country from the house of two people involved in the attack.
The incident reflects the moral smugglers of sand even when the state government launched a massive crackdown in illegal sand mining activities last month.
The river flowed almost a kilometer away from the place where the raid team was attacked, according to the police.
The incident occurred around 8am.
Besides Sho, another injured police personnel were Assistant Sub-Inspector Naresh Kumar, police including Kishun Dev, Jitendra Prasad Yadav and Tarkeshwar Singh, additional police (drivers) Umendra Singh and Chowkidar Hridaniand.
The police team was first stoned hard when they intercepted the tractor loaded with sand which was illegally mined from Sone.
After that, sand smugglers that included females also gathered more colleagues from Tolias by contacting them by telephone and more violating members of the raid team with sticks and sticks together with their chasing.
Seeing the scenario, the senior authority was told and reinforcements from the neighboring police station such as Paliganj, Bikram and Dulhin Bazaar rushed to the place.
Paliganj Spdo Ajay Kumar, Bikram Circle Inspector and other senior officers available in subdivisions also reached a place to control the situation.
Rani Talab Sho Paswan said that Mithilesh Yadav, Sadhu Yadav and at least a dozen others from Barer were avoiding arrest.
