Patna: For the first time in the state, nine transgenders have been canceled as the volunteer of the laws to create legal awareness among villagers in the Aurangabad district.
The District Legal Service Authority (DLSA) Aurangabad has triggered them based on ad hoc.
They began working in various regions in the district from Saturday.
West Bengal and Jharkhand have taken such a step, the DLSA source said.
Recently, Bihar became one of several countries in the country to deny transgender in his police.
Transgender was appointed in a special program held for them in Aurangabad on Friday.
Manoj Kumar Tiwari District Judge and other justice officers were present on that occasion.
Secretary Aurangabad DLSA Pranaw Shankar, who is an additional district judge ranking officer, told TII by telephone on Saturday that transgender provides one hour training on Friday to make them aware of the works of DLSA and National Law Service Authority (Nalsa) and how They can help people in need.
“The reason for inducing them is that they continue to move continuously and reach remote areas.
Once they work with dedication, they will be appointed permanently to Aurangabad DLSA in March next year,” he said.
Shankar said transgender had great knowledge of a large number of people, who really needed help but was helpless.
Judicial officers were surprised when transgender gave them some people who needed after they were told how the DLSA volunteers and panel lawyers worked to expand assistance to parents or people who were physically challenged in getting the benefits of government schemes such as retirement, pedicabs and others Free legal assistance.
At present, transgender has been asked to raise awareness among villagers about obtaining registered births and deaths.
The idea was given by the Aurangabad District Judge.
They have also been submitted to pamphlets and other ingredients printed with information for distribution in villages to create awareness.
Aurangabad DLSA, which has around 50 panel lawyers and about 100 para-law volunteers, has a plan to increase the number of transgers who work for them if this step is successful.
