Bihar: After gasoline, Violated Diesel RS 100-Mark

Patna: The price of fuel reaches fresh high in the city on Saturday because oil companies increase gasoline and diesel levels for the fifth consecutive day.
With a fresh increase in 36 Paise per liter, diesel prices on Patna touched Rs 99.21 per liter.
Gasoline became more expensive by 35 Paise and the price touched Rs 107.16 per liter in the midst of volatility in global crude oil prices traded at $ 82.39 per barrel.
Gasoline prices have become trends for the last two weeks in the city.
The price revision was carried out eight times in October alone.
Gasoline prices have risen by Rs 2.85 and Diesel of Rs 3.30 per liter in the last 12 days.
Diesel is being sold above RS 100 per liter in at least 13 Bihar districts, including Araria (RS 100.40), Banka (RS 100.46), Buxar (RS 100.05), Gopalganj (Rs 100.45), Kaimur ( Rs 100.45), Kaimur (RS 100.27), Katihar (RS 100.18), Kishanganj (RS 101.06), Munger (RS 100.44), Rohtas (RS 100.1), Sitamarhi (100.07), Soupuup (RS 100.77), West Champaran (Rs 100.77).
Fuel prices are different from one place to place depending on local tax events such as VAT and shipping costs.
Ashok Kumar, the owner of a fuel station near DAK Bungalow, said sales had fallen 10-15% in the past few weeks.
“So far, the highest level for gasoline and diesel.
Previously, we witnessed a decline in gasoline sales.
However, diesel sales have also been affected now because of price increases,” he added.
One Kumar Neeranjan, who was seen buying gasoline at a fuel station near Gandhi Maidan, said the price of fuel prices increased, it would pass the 130-mark Hospital at the end of December.
“The cost of the LPG cylinder has increased by Rs 40.
As a result, the price of vegetables and fruit has been north.
People have suffered after the effects of Covid and the increase in fuel prices has increased their misery,” Kumar added.
Prabhat Kumar Singh, President of the Association of Dealer Petroleum Bihar, said the price of fuel increased due to the increase in global crude oil rates.
“However, there are several manipulations at the level of domestic fuel as the center and state imposing severe tax on oil.
They do not reduce the price when it decreases in the global market.
If no tax, diesel can be sold with Rs 49 per liter,” he added.
