Bihar: Amnesty for the remaining prisoners with the term prison less than 1 year

Patna: The state government has decided to give amnesty to sentenced prison inmates who are less than one year their term imprisonment to serve.
The State Cabinet on Friday approved the home department proposal to release the prison hell punished in pursuing the commandment of the Supreme Court in this matter.
Many prisons in the states are extinguished and, therefore, are susceptible to Coronavirus infections and transmissions.
However, the number of punished prisoners who will benefit from suspension of sentences must be calculated, the source of the Department of the Cabinet Secretariat.
Overall, the cabinet approved 11 proposals, including RS54.08 Crore release which will be used by the South Bihar Power Distribution Company Limited (SBPDCL) and North Bihar PDCL for the procurement of transformers and cable and their installation in all medical colleges of the Hospital Government, Hospital Aware, and sub-division hospitals.
It is necessary to supply electricity to run a pressure swing oxygen plant (PSA) on their campus.
While SBPDCL has been allocated RS26.51 Crore, NBPDCL will get RS27.56 Crore.
The Cabinet approved the Proposal of the Ministry of Health to be estimated to expenditure RS1,754.99 Crore on expansion and strengthening health care services considering the Coronavirus pandemic.
Money will be used to open public health centers at 1,015 health centers, 228 primary health centers (APHCS) and in 86 other blocks that do not have a public health center.
In addition, the cabinet gave its approval to the construction and opening of other 50 CHC under the National Health Mission (NHM) program.
The Cabinet also cleared the proposal of the land reform department to transfer 7,3027 hectares of government land under the Circle of Barun from Aurangabad Regency and other parts of 1.9753 hectares of land in the Obra circle in the same district as the construction of shipping corridors.
The costs paid by the train are RS2.66 Crore related to the land in Barun Circle and RS48.88 Lakh with regard to the Circle Obra.
The cabinet agreed to the government’s decision to provide the issuance of a non-cream layer certificate and a more economically weaker certificate under the scope of the Bihar Public Service Rights Act, 2011.
