PATNA: State BJP president Dr Sanjay Jaiswal on Friday suspended MLC Tunna Ji Pandey in the party Because of his repeated statements from CM Nitish Kumar.
Pandey had clarified Nitish as a”circumstantial CM” and threatened to”expose” the latter’s participation from the 2009 liquor scam if he needed to go to prison.
The BJP’s actions against Pandey arrived 48 hours later JD(U) parliamentary board chairman Upendra Kushwaha had informed Jaiswal of those statements made from the BJP MLC.
Kushwaha, during his conversation, had cautioned the country BJP of taking actions against Pandey.
“BJP disciplinary committee chairman Vinay Singh had functioned show-cause notice on you for issuing statements from the CM.
Regardless of that, you lasted issuing the statements breaking up the party traces.
Consequently, you’re suspended from the party with immediate impact,” the suspension letter issued by Jaiswal read.
BJP spokesman and former MLA Prem Ranjan Patel stated Pandey’s statements criticising CM Nitish Kumar amounted to breach of favors.
“What stunned that the BJP leadership was Pandey held a media conference on Thursday in a place whose background revealed the lantern emblem of the RJD.
This occurred following the show-cause notice was served by the nation BJP disciplinary committee,” Patel explained.
Patel additional Pandey was revealing his rising closeness to the RJD for the past few decades by praising Lalu Prasad, Rabri Devi and Tejashwi Prasad Yadav.
“He’d chased former RJD MP from Siwan overdue Mohammad Shahabuddin,” Patel said adapting to the suspension of Pandey, apparently under pressure in the JD(U), RJD spokesman Chitranjan Gagan stated,”The BJP claims are the biggest celebration on the NDA, however it’s chosen to concede prior to the JD(U).”
