Patna / Darbhanga: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Tuesday made a regional air survey affected by flooding in Darbhanga and Madhubani District and asked the district judge concerned to ensure that the people who lived in help camps did not face discomfort.
CM also examined the flood situation at Kusheshwar Astan Purvi Block Adalpur and Sahorawa Village by NDRF Boat.
Accompanied by the Minister of Water Resources Negara Sanjay Kumar Jha and several senior officials, CM asked about facilities and assistance provided to people affected by camping floods on the nearest streets.
He also visited a flood assistance camp at Maskhor High School under the Kusheshwar Blok Ashan Purvi and also checked the temporary shelter made for pregnant women affected by floods, kitchen community and smart classes run at school.
He also examined the CUM-CUM-CUM-19 Community Health Center in the Shankara Modern Public School, Gyaspura and asked about General Opd, OPD Eye, Medical Distribution Center.
Nitish also provided a check for RS2 Lakh to Mohammad Rabbani under the minority minority loan scheme and another check for RS25,000 to Nazma above the lonely / divorced women’s aid scheme.
He also handed over another check for RS15,000 to Mamta Devi because it brought a girl in a flood assistance camp.
CM asks district officials to make propaganda needed about the availability of Covid-19 vaccines in the public health center and ensure maximum vaccination of people every day.
Then, talking to MediaPersons, Nitish said his government was very serious about flood problems and all the necessary settings had been made to minimize their impact on people.
“I judge the flood situation every day and also visited various districts to review assistance work,” he said.
Nitish further said people who lived in help camps in Darbhanga District were satisfied with arrangements.
