Bihar CM flag of 50 CNG buses for Jalan Patna

Patna: Cm Nith Kumar on Saturday was handed over 350 new ambulances to the beneficiaries under the Mukhyamantri Gram Parifahan Yojana (MGPY) and also marked 50 CNG buses for Jalan Patna during the Transportation Department event, which was held in front of the ‘Hall of the Samvad.

CM, by symbolic way, also submit a small replica of the ambulance to five MGPY recipients.
Speaking on that occasion, CM said he marked nearly 50 CNG buses to plying on the road in and around the state capital.
“This will help reduce pollution and protect the environment in the state of the state.
The launch of the CNG bus will also provide comfort for local bus commuters,” he said.
While talking about the ambulance scheme, Nitish said the maximum subsidy RS two lakh per recipient was provided for two beneficiaries in each block to buy an ambulance under MGPY.
“In the first phase, a total of 350 ambulances are handed over to the recipient of the current.
A total of 800 ambulances will be purchased this year.
There is a target to provide at least two ambulants in each state block at the end of the current calendar year,” Nitish told reporters after submitting reporters Ambulance to beneficiaries.
He said, residents of rural areas were used to face many difficulties in reaching hospitals in urban areas during serious illness.
Now, because the minimum two ambulances are provided at each block, people may find comfort in reaching hospitals in their closest cities.
CM also said that because the ambulance will now be available in rural areas, people will soon reach the hospital nearby if there are serious types of illness, both Covid-19 or cases of accidents on the road.
A transportation department official said 50 CNG buses will operate on various route city bus service Patna.
