Patna: Bihar CM Nitish Kumar on Monday said some people involved in illegal trade in fake liquor were not only arrested and sent to prison, but also lost their government work and received a punishment from a different court.
Responding to media requests after the program ‘Janta to Darbar Mein Mukhyamantri’ in Patna, he also said the majority of people in civil administration and police performed well and arrested them found involved in trading false liquor.
“But, it’s hard to claim that everything will be fine.
I always say that a number of people, both in the government or private sector, remain involved in mistakes.
Certain people always have a tendency to do something wrong,” CM said.
It was Nitish who imposed a total ban on sales and alcohol consumption in all states on April 5, 2016.

Nitish further said the total ban in the state was enforced from 2016 upon Women’s request.

All members of the Council and the Council of the State Legislature take an appointment for the ban on liquor.
All government officials and employees take the prohibition of the same supported liquor.
