Nitish hopes that PM will heed the request for the Caste Census: CM Nith Kumar said on Tuesday that he “hoped” that the center would give a “consideration” to advance 11 members of the Bihar delegation all parties and decided to census the caste in the country.
“PM (Narendra Modi) heard patiently arguments and requests to prioritize the caste census by each member of the delegation.
We present all the details of our side, and now hope that PM will provide consideration to them and also decide to support the caste census,” Nitish said, Adding that a copy of the round resolution that was passed by the state assembly issues in 2019 and 2020, along with other details, previously sent to the center.
“We want the center to make a decision on it,” Nitish emphasized, adding at the same time that it was also a scene in other states throughout the country, but Bihar took the initiative to press it.
Nitish was talking to media people at Patna Airport after returning from Delhi.
Nitish on Monday led the 11 member delegation and presentation view on this problem before PM.
While being reminded that the preparation for the 2021 general census was made for its launch and started, said Nitish: “There are two aspects for it.
If the census has started, and if it will begin.
Census count has not started and, therefore, the decision to do It can be taken.
“He further said:” It was on the basis of the 1931 census findings that the policy decision was taken.
Therefore, at least one caste-based census must be done for future use.
“He insisted that the second caste census would be profitable For the community because it has its own benefits for them and thus, all political parties in Bihar have supported it, while it will also be in “national interests”.
Regarding the “monetization” plan – euphemism for the privatization of public assets – from Patna Airport and the streets under the National Highway Authority (NHAI) in a country planned by the center, Nitish said the government consistently took steps to improve Patna Airport.
“In fact, we don’t have details about what is being done,” he said.
