Patna: The head of Bihar Nith Kumar on Wednesday visited several Puja temples and Pandal Puja including the famous Mandir Sheetla in the Agamkuan area in Patna, and offered prayers in most pandals and temples he visited on the occasion of Maha Ashthmi, eighth day of Navratri.
Accompanied by Minister of Education Vijay Kumar Choudhary, CM also went to Bari Patan Devi and Chhoti Temple Patna Devi in the Patna City area and offered prayers on both temples.
“CM offers prayers for peace, prosperity, and progress of Bihar and its people,” said the communique from the CM office.
Nitish also visited Shri Bari Devi Ji temples in Marufganj and Shri Dalhatta Devi Ji in the Dalhatta area of Patna City.

Speaking with reporters, said Nitish, “I visited these temples and PANJAL PANJAL every year on the occasion of Maha Ashthmi.
Last year, I could not do it because of restrictions related to Covid-19.
But I am happy after visiting the Puja Temple and Pandal this year.
“He also said Durga Puja could not be organized in a big way last year due to Covid-19 pandemic.
But this year, the state government has enabled puja and people to celebrate festivals in all places in the right way.
