Bhagalpur: With the aim of facilitating comfortable train trips and comfort for the passengers of disabled people, The Eastern Railway (ER) has decided to introduce the ‘coach Divyangjan’ at Bhagalpur-Local Tilak Express, Local Tilak -Bhagalpur Express, Bhagalpur-Ajmer Express and Ajmer-Bhagalpur Express Train from next week.
‘Coach Divyangjan’, technically known as LSLRD coach (LHB both luggage, guard & Divityaang Compartment), was being introduced at Bhagalpur-Lokumanya Tilak Express from February 11 and at Local Tilak-Bhagalpur Express from February 13.
Similarly, it will be introduced At Bhagalpur-Ajmer Express from February 10 and at Ajmer-Bhagalpur Express from February 12.
Ekalabya ​​Chakraborty, Head of Public Relations (CPRO) at Eastern Railway, said he was being carried out by replacing a brake and car luggage generator (LWLRRRM) in two pairs of trains.
LSLRD will also have the ability to convert power from the supply of overhead which will be used throughout the train while providing space for guard luggage and additional passenger rooms on special trains.
Central Railway Rail Passengers Sangh (CRRPS) has welcomed the initiative and demanded such coaches in every remote train along with a special toilet for the elderly and passengers with disabilities.
