Patna: The prohibition and excise department is considering several changes in the Bihar and Excise ban, 2016 Despite the Minister of Law Pramod Kumar on Friday said the department had not received the proposal.
Even though Promod told TOI that “no paper or authentic proposal that came to the department to be considered”, Chaitanya Prasad’s additional school (home) confirmed that the inter-department’s consultation was held on this problem.
However, he refused to reveal the details.
But TOI has a copy of the proposal for amendments considered.
Amendment, under the title ‘Bihar and Excise Title (Amendment), 2022’, is proposed to view at least 15 HOOCH deaths in suggestions in the last three days, close to at least 13 deaths from consumption of false liquor in the Nalanda district earlier this week.
The state government also deducted several changes in liquor law considering observations carried out by the Head of Indian Justice stipulated by the law without considering the practical consequences of the court that had been clogged with cases of liquor law in Bihar.
One proposal is that people like to consume liquor or drunk at home or outside or be found drunk or under the influence of liquor for the first time released on the payment of the country’s fines.
Failure to pay a fine will invite a simple one-month prison.
However, it will not apply to repeat violators, which will invite additional penalties or imprisonment or both.
