Katihar: Drive Vaccination Covid Ward-Wise and “Tika Raths” have received a good response in the district with advanced people to take Jab.
District immunization officer (DIO) Dr.
D N Jha said on Tuesday that at least 14,000 people were given a covishield vaccine in urban areas in the district from May 31 to June 27.
“Beneficiaries are inoculated in 11 locations in urban areas.
At Ward Number 45, a board member offers gifts to those who take Jab,” Dio said.
He added religious leaders, teachers and members of Raj Pancayat institutions have been interesting for people to advance and take vaccines.
“They play an important role in persuading people for vaccination.
Until now, 3,48,143 people have been given a dose of covishield in this district.
From them, 40,940 has received their second dose,” Drh Jha said.
