Patna: Four criminals who were transmitted motorbikes shooting Deader property when he was in porn walking near Wisnupuri under the Beur police station area here around 5am on Thursday.
Victims were identified as Ajay Shukla (40).
Police said Shukla, a resident of Telhara in the Nalanda district, has lived alone in rented accommodation in Mahavir Colony under the Beur Police Station area for the past three years.
The place where Shukla was killed almost 500 meters from rented accommodation.
This is the second big murder in this district in 48 hours.
On Tuesday night, Mantu Kumar Gupta (40), a jewelry, was shot dead by a group of six criminals in her shop at Bihta Market in West Patna.
The police said Shukla was also a transporter and vehicle used to operate from Patna Airport.
Some actions and agreements recovered from rented accommodation during search by police.
Phulwarishif Sdpo Manish Kumar Sinha said the police had received CCTV camera footage from the incident.
He said four criminals on two bikes intercepted Shukla and fired a shot.
“At least three bullets are pumped into his stomach and other bullets about his head,” said SDO, added Shukla, who died in that place, probably knew the criminals.
“As soon as Shukla saw them from a distance, he tried to hide himself behind the wall.
However, he could not succeed because the criminals had seen it,” Sinha said.
Police added SDO investigating cases from different angles.
“Some papers on the agreement and the actions of the plot recovered from his residence.
The two cellphones will be examined to get a clue,” Sinha said, adding Shukla’s body was handed over to his family members after post-mortem in Aiims-Patna.
“The police tried to identify killers and arrest them,” he said.
