Patna: In a strange case, the donkey and owner have been booked for the “murder” of the buffalo in the Rohtas district on Saturday.
The owner of the buffalo, Muni Chaudhary, has filed a written complaint with the Dawaffal Police Station, accusing the donkey and owner, Ilyas Hussain from Sahinav Village, for causing the death of his livestock.
In his complaint it was filed on Saturday, Muni said Ilyas and his daughter passed the village road where the buffalo would eat animal feed.
“The donkey brought a ballast on his back.
I asked Ilyas to pause and let the buffalo finish his feed.
But the donkey suddenly kicked the buffalo with his back leg.
Buffalo died in place,” he thought.
Muni requested justice and also looking for compensation.
The Dawatt Sho Atvendra Kumar police station said Muni had asked to register fir.
“He accused the donkey and owner.
Further actions will be taken after investigating this problem,” he said.
The villagers also said that the donkey defendants were violent and often attacked animals and others.
Previously, it had killed a cow.
