Bihar: Get train tickets confirmed uphill tasks

Patna: Getting a confirmed bed in a long-range train originating from various places that fall under the jurisdiction of the East Railway (ECR) has become difficult for passengers because of a big rush to Durga Puja.
Special passenger trains that come to Bihar are also running full of their capacity.
Chairman of the ECR Public Relations Official (CPRO) Rajesh Kumar said Rajendra Nagar Terminal-New Delhi Rajdhani Special (02309) was running full of capacity.
Passenger occupancy rates more than 110% on the train.
Similarly, Rajgir-New Delhi Shramjeevi Express Special (02391) and Rajendra Nagar Terminal-New Delhi Shampoorna Kranti Special (02393) has a full-level occupancy rate.
“All new Delhi special trains come from Patna and other places have full occupancy,” said CPRO.
Patna-Howrah Janshatabdi Special (02024) has a occupancy rate of 132% of passengers.
Darbhanga-New Delhi Special (02565) also took place full of capacity.
According to the source, even though the train has not yet decided to run the regular train, the overall occupancy rate of passengers in Patna-New Delhi, Patna-Howrah, Danapur-Bengaluru and Patna-Mumbai route is full.
Meanwhile, Railways has decided to run a special weekly festival passenger train (01901/01902) starting October 15 to November 27 between Barauni and Gwalior to overcome the busyness of the celebration season.
While the train will leave Gwalior every Friday at 7.25 in the morning, it will reach Baruni the next day at 7 am.
On the way back, the train will leave Barabi every Saturday at 9:15 a.m.
and reach Gwalior the next day at 9:30 a.m., said CPRO.
