Patna: The Country Cabinet on Tuesday approved the RS 598.10 Crore for the construction of 12.409 km from the path of approach as an alternative route to the Sonepur-Diga Ganga-cum-road bridge (J P Setu) from the side of Sonepur.
The proposal was moved by the road construction department.
This project involves Bitumen and PCC works, culverts, sewer, security points, underpasses, road overbridge (ROB) and high structures.
With regard to other proposals transferred by the Road Construction Department, the Cabinet gave sanctions RS210.13 Crore for the construction of a two-track bridge road approach on the Sone near Panduka in Rohtas District.
This bridge will be connected to Jharkhand near the city of Japla.
In addition, the cabinet also provided sanctions of the state release worth RS38.17 Crore for the construction of overbridge roads between the Danapur and Naura train stations.
The total expenditure on Rob is Rs60.80 Crore.
Regarding the proposal transferred by the Ministry of Health, the Cabinet approved the RS169.25 Crore for the expenditure of the logistics needed in Covid-19 vaccination.
The cabinet also gave sanctions for framing the rules and conditions of the service chairman and members of the City Assembly of Bihar Municipal Tribunal.
It also oversees the framing of rules and service conditions for typing cadres at the Regional Office of the Ministry of Veterinary and Fisheries Resources as well as in the Development Directorate of cattle from the same department.
