Patna: The state government has decided to launch a special program to improve the competence of elementary school children in English.

Sanjay Kumar, head of the additional education secretary, told this reporter, “Even though the teachings of English starting from class I in school, many children fail to have a clear understanding of language.

According to the agreement, a specially designed English Literacy Program will make government school teachers study the simple techniques they will use to develop reading, writing, construction skills and skills among children.
Trained teachers will also be given a certificate in the end.
“Training program, which starts next month, will be implemented in a phase in three years,” said an official of the Ministry of Education.
The English Literacy Program has been successfully implemented in countries such as Rajasthan, Madhya Pradesh and Jharkhand.
