Patna: Indigo airlines, Prince Kumar (21), were destroyed to death by Bus Bihar State Transport Corporation (BSRTC) on the main road outside Patna Airport at around 6am on Wednesday.
His aunt Lavani Kumari (30), who also worked for the same airline at the airport, was injured in the accident.
Both of them went to the airport to join the task when the accident took place.
Incidentally, it was a prince’s birthday and a 15-year anniversary of the airline.
All celebrations are canceled at the airport.
Sho Arun Kumar Airport Police Station said Prince went to the airport with Lavani on a bicycle when the accident took place.
“Prince might try to follow the BSRTC bus to Bailey Road from Veterinary College Road.
However, his bicycle slipped and they fell.
Prince’s head was destroyed under the rear wheel of the bus.
One of his aunt legs also ran,” he said.
Sho said the accident occurred right before Sudha’s milk Stan was located near the airport exit gate.
He said the woman rushed to a private hospital in King Bazar for treatment.
“A police officer from the Shastri Nagar police station recorded his statement,” he said.
Kumar said the bus driver managed to escape by vehicle.
He said the case of the death of a road accident was registered at the Traffic Police Station in Gandhi Maidan.
He said the body was handed over to the family after postmortem at Igims.
