PATNA: Police detained one Toofani Yadav (35) from his home in Pairgaha village below the Jhajha police station spot at Jamui district Sunday on behalf of murdering his small daughter and nephew for honor around twenty-seven weeks back.
SHO of all Jhajha police channel Srikant Kumar stated Toofani’s daughter, Gudiya Kumari (16), along with also the boy, Kundan Kumar (18), were also cousins and dwelt in exactly the identical village.
He said that the duo had gone lost on March 11.
Their bodies had been found drifting in Nakti dam beneath Jhajha police station on March 14.
“Families of either side were so convinced that the duo had committed suicide.
But, authorities recently obtained post-mortem reports of the bodies and it became apparent that they have been killed,” that the SHO added.
“Further investigations showed names of Toofani and five of his relatives, that hatched a conspiracy to kill the duo,” he explained.
Jamui SP Pramod Kumar Mandal said authorities had suspected foul play following the retrieval of the entire body, but awaiting concrete proof.
“It became apparent the woman and the boy had been invited to death and their bodies were afterwards thrown to the dam,” the SP said, including raids were able to arrest additional relatives of the woman involved with the killing.
