Patna: In a big step towards restructuring the organization’s regulation, the state (U) on Wednesday dissolves all 33 cells, including YUVA JD (U), Mahila JD (U) and Chhatra JD (U), and the unit directly from the block level to state level.
The last 33 cells were dissolved in March and April this year on the direction of the National President of the National President of Ram Chandra Prasad Singh, commonly known as RCP.

Moreover, the party removed all 40 Lok Sabha and 243 Vidhan Sabha Kshetra Prabharis in the state.

“JD (u) State President Umesh Singh Kushwaha has ended the cell and party units and the appointment of all Sabha and Vidhan Sabha Kshetra Prabharis with direct effects,” Secretary General of the Party of State (Headquarters) Mrityjay Kumar Singh announced.
Although the termination order was officially released by Kushwaha, the person said it was done on the direction of the new national president of the Rajiv Party Ranjan Singh Lalan Singh.
Lalan became the National President JD (U) on July 31, replacing RCP.
Immediately after taking the party order, Lalan expressed his concern for the “too much” cell constitution.
Lalan views that these cells run parallel units in the district, which leads to confusion among the supporters.
Immediately after taking over the allegations of the party, Lalan had stopped the appointment of Vidhan Sabha Prabhar from different cells.
He also violated further expansion of different cells in the state.
JD (u) Secretary General of Mrityunjay Singh told TII that their cells and units were stopped after a thorough discussion with the top party leaders.
He added, “The party has decided to reduce the number of cells.
Some of them, who do not have a political utility, will be closed.
The new committee will be announced in the future.”
