Bihar: Jewelry worth RS 60L looted in Gopalganj

Patna: Four criminals borne bicycles allegedly looting jewelry worth more than RS60 Lakh and RS4 Lakh in cash from a shop in the bazaar, under the same police station in Gopalganj around 1 noon on Tuesday.
The criminals wearing masks holding staff and managers Kundan Kumar from Jai Durge Jewelers took hostage on the point of weapons.
Gopalganj Supervisors from Police (SP) Anand Kumar said the criminals looted around 1 kg of gold and 20kg silver ornaments.
He said the raid was being done to catch them.
Doctors held: One Dr.
Bharat Bhushan, posted in the Gastroenterology Department of Patna-Based Hospital, was arrested for creating a commotion under the influence of alcohol near Khoja Imli under the police station Gardanibagh.
Arun Kumar Station House Officer said the medical test confirmed that the doctor had consumed alcohol.
“He was arrested and sent to prison on Tuesday,” he said.
